Paris, mon amour, it's been weeks since we've talked. I've thought about us all weekend Paris, and how wonderful it must be to spend Easter in the city of lights and love. Why if I was in Paris this past weekend, I'd have had an egg hunt all around the Eiffel Tower. Imagine Paris! An outdoor picnic by the Seine, walks until I dropped right off of my high heels, and of course, I'd have attended Sunday morning mass at Notre Dame. Am I dreaming Paris, or will these delightful daydreams come true someday soon?
I wore my yellow and white paisley Easter trench yesterday Paris. It was perfect over my Easter egg pink pencil skirt. I just knew that my bubble-gum pink form-fitting tee would come in handy one day. They were the perfect marriage, bonded together by the black patent waist-cinching skinny belt. Of course Paris, there's nothing quite like the knee-length pencil skirt to make a woman feel like a woman, and then, the icing on the cake - the pink and black Mary Janes open toe pumps. My Gosh Paris, I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about that outfit.
Today is overcast and mild and the birds are singing furiously. I just love springtime. Of course, with grey skies on the forecast today, I think the wardrobe will call for more neutrals rather than pastels.
Well my darling Paris, the husband is calling for my assistance in the kitchen. It sounds as though breakfast is ready and the dear man cannot locate the swiss-water decaf to brew a cuppa for his beloved. Best to not be selfish a second longer Paris, I must go to his rescue as a good wife should. Au revoir, but only for today Paris.
